Polarised lenses - What they do on the water?
Polarised lenses contain a filter that blocks horizontally reflected light — the type of glare that bounces off flat water surfaces. This reduces eye strain during long sessions and can make it easier to see into the water in certain light conditions. TAC (Triacetate Cellulose) is a polarised lens material known for optical clarity and scratch resistance.
Foam Inner Frame
The inner frame of these sunglasses includes a soft foam gasket that sits against the face. This serves two purposes: it reduces light entry from the sides and top of the frame, and it cushions contact between the frame and your face during extended wear. It also creates a closer fit to the face, which can reduce wind entering around the frame on open water or exposed locations.
TAC Polarised Lens
The lenses use a TAC polarised filter to reduce glare from water surfaces. UV400 rated — blocks UVA and UVB rays up to 400nm wavelength. Suitable for use in bright sunlight on open water, rivers, and lakes.
Designed For Long Sessions
The TR90 frame material is lightweight (approximately 28g) and flexible. Combined with the foam gasket, the frame is designed to remain comfortable during extended wear, a consideration for full-day carp sessions or boat fishing.
